Learn how to whisk and drink your tea matcha like in tea ceremony.

Tea matcha has been consummated in Japan for about 800 years during tea ceremonies which consists in preparing the tea according to a complex and meticulous process. We propose you to experiment the best of it, the whisking part. Let's try to make it as creamy as possible! ​​

〈1〉Whisk your own tea matcha
〈2〉Enjoy modeling Nerikiri sweets like seasonal flowers, fruits and others. This is suitable for children and adults.

〈3〉Taste them with your own Tea Matcha.

From grinding to whisking, including making the Japanese sweets "Ohigashi", enjoy matcha culture through your five senses!

Point 1
Make the sweets "Nerikiri" using white and black beans paste. It is soft and can be modeled in various shapes, usually in relation with the season like the shape of cherry blossoms in spring and the shape of maple leaves in autumn.

 

Step  2
Whisk your own tea matcha. Don't forget taking photos before drinking.


Step 3

It’s time to enjoy the sweets and Matcha you made.

≪Matcha, Hikicha and Ohigashi≫

〈1〉Grind tea leaves with a stone mill and make it into powder Matcha.
〈2〉Fill up Japanese sugar "wasanbon" into real wood molds to make Ohigashi.
〈3〉Taste them at Ozashiki.

From grinding to whisking, including making the Japanese sweets "Ohigashi", enjoy matcha culture through your five senses!

Step 1
Make the sweets "Ohigashi" (usually served with light Matcha) with high quality Japanese sugar "Wasanbon".
We provide real wooden molds. Just choose the one you like! You can also add color for +¥200.

Step  2
Grind tea leaves. It takes time but you can enjoy the really fresh flavor of Matcha and peaceful moment.

Step 3
Whisk your own tea Matcha and learn how to drink it in tea ceremony. Then you can taste the sweets you made with Matcha.
